Remember the Children Of Gaza

The anniversary of Israel's three-week war approaches, I'm sure the children of Gaza
must be very much on your mind.

I was in Gaza right after Israel's horrifying assault and I can still see the children I met sitting where their homes used to be and staring blankly into space or searching through rubble for a cherished toy. The images of white phosphorous burns on small bodies, and limbs torn off by DIME weapons will stay with me forever.

While you and I will always remember what happened in Gaza, I hope you also remember
that, as a MECA supporter, you were a lifeline to the children.

Thanks to your generous support, MECA was able to deliver several tons of food and
medicine to the children of Gaza immediately. And our Gaza partner Afaq Jadeeda created an ongoing program that's helping tens of thousands of Gaza children heal from trauma and loss.
