R&B Singer Macy Gray to Perform for 4th Time in Israel, Despite BDS Calls

The US Campaign started an online letter-writing campaign on January 21, 2011, asking Macy Gray to cancel her performances in Israel. Since then, 5,622 individuals have emailed the popular singer through our web site, causing Gray to seriously reconsider her travel plans. American R&B and soul singer Macy Gray has announced that she will be performing in Israel, despite much talk of boycott and a Facebook forum with thousands urging her to stay away.

A few weeks ago Gray acknowledged that she had been contacted by people calling on her to boycott her two Tel Aviv concerts in February.

"I'm getting alot of letters from activists urging/begging me to boycott by NOT performing in protest of Apartheid against the Palestinians," Gray wrote on Facebook.
