NABLUS, February 20, 2011 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Sunday cut down 250 olive trees in the area between Qasra and Douma villages south of Nablus, according to Ghassan Daghlas, Palestinian official responsible for the settlement file in the northern West Bank.
Daghlas said that the incident of cutting trees is not a first in that area, which frequently suffers from attacks by settlers.
Jewish settlers in the West Bank frequently attack Palestinian farmers and their land in order to take over the land for illegal settlements.
